With more than two decades in the documentary/television industry, Mick Richards has established himself as a gifted artist combining his talents as producer, director, writer, cinematographer, editor and composer. His creative talents and achievements are found in the corporate industry and well established as valuable assets for ministries and non-profits.
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Richards worked as a producer and owner of DeepLight Productions/Entertainment working in local creative and corporate production for most of his early career.
Richards became a Go To Nations media missionary, to partner with local and global missions organizations to serve them with missions strategies and help tell their stories through creative production and media.
Building a Difference is his latest broadcast documentary series that features a variety of missions movements across the country and overseas. Recently, he helped lead a small team of young missionaries on the Movements of Compassion Tour, which lead him and some of his team to New York City.
In New York, Richards serves as the Exec. Director of Saturate NY Metro, an organization with the vision to help unite 5-20 churches in every zip code in the NY Metro area with city-reaching strategies and outreach resources.
As the Director of Jesus Week NYC, he helps facilitate churches in the NY Metro area in a massive, week-long, creative outreach event in the summer. In these NYC platforms, he is currently working on a producing New York City missions documentary film.
As Project Leader and Media Coordinator of Saturate USA, an organization with the goal to reach 60 million homes with the Gospel by the end of 2020, he produces all the video presentations and leads the Saturate New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Chicago and First Coast projects. His team helps facilitate churches to adopt every zip code in these cities and send church members out as missionaries into their neighborhoods to reach every home with free Gospel material.
He serves as Media Lead on powerful and aggressive outreach movements Love New York and Love Chicago, with the focus on week-long 24/7 prayer, worship and outreach events.
Richards spent 3 months in Chicago in 2018 as 2nd Unit Director and Cinematographer for the Chicago: America’s Hidden War film. While there, he served as Media Coordinator for Jesus Summer, a 40-day outreach event in Chicago, where he shot film footage of grassroots missions movements for a Chicago Missions Story for Building a Difference.
He just finished producing his own film featuring the Love Chicago movement and currently showing at select churches to help bring awareness to the “Love Your City/Firebase Movement” as a whole.
He is currently a Board Member of Transformation Jacksonville, an organization helping to facilitate missions movements in Jacksonville and the First Coast Florida area.
